Just wanted to drop you a line to tell you how very much we enjoyed our 3 days at Nautilus. The last time we stayed there was 17 years ago (a long time between visits I know). We had a holiday planned on the Gold Coast, so coming up from Sydney we decided to stay in Coffs before heading north the next day. Not remembering your name we ended up at Aanuka Beach Resort, after checking in we realized it was the wrong place(oh well it was only for 1 night). This made me more determined to find the place we stayed at 17 years ago. So I googled accommodation at Coffs Harbour and bingo, Nautilus rang a bell, and there was a site plan on the net and it all looked familiar. Coming from up north we of course sailed right passed your sign and ended up in town. The signage is very bad coming from up north as there is lots of vegetation obscuring it, and you don’t see it till the last minute (we of course did not see it at all!). Maybe another sign further up the road  would help your business?  We went to the information centre and that was a hoot, the lady there had never heard of Nautilus. I was more determined than ever and decided that if I found you I would stay 3 nights and not the 1 night which was planned before returning home. I googled Nautilus again and got your number and the lovely Bernie gave me directions and waited for us to arrive, as it was after 5pm. A big thank you to Bernie for being soooooo nice and welcoming. In our opinion Nautilus is better than it ever was. It is so well kept and clean. At first I though the restaurant is closed, what a shame, but after a day there I realized that is a good thing, quiet and peaceful with no Yahoo’s (just what a couple of oldies love), and of course there are great food places all over Coffs. A truly lovely spot, clean and well kept accommodation with everything you could want, well presented pools and facilities. We had a really good time and I shall tell all my contacts about Nautilus and I hope to come back next year, and this time I will know were to go.
